Dr. K. N. Modi University, a privately-owned institution authorized by the State Government and accredited by the UGC, is located in Newai within Rajasthan's Tonk district, spread across a picturesque 45-acre campus surrounded by lush greenery. Managed by the Dr. K. N. Modi Foundation, established by the esteemed Dr. Kedar Nath Modi, known for his significant contributions to society through educational initiatives. Dr. Kedar Nath Modi firmly believed in the transformative power of education and dedicated himself to providing quality education across all levels, advocating the principle that "Education Builds Nation" to learners from various societal backgrounds.

Heading towards its Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, the Foundation is presently under the guidance of Dr. D K Modi, an accomplished individual educated in both India and Switzerland, following in the footsteps of the Foundation's legacy.

Aligned with the ethos of "Education for the Development of The society," the University, since its inception in the academic year 2010–11, has fervently pursued its mission and objectives. Admissions & selection procedure – 

Dr. Kedar Nath Modi University (DKNMU), established by the Rajasthan Government, is a renowned self-financed institution in India situated in Newai, Tonk District. It's recognized for quality education across various levels and stands as a hub for innovation and learning.

It offers a wide array of courses, including undergraduate programs like B.Tech., B.A., BBA, BCA, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Pharma., and B.Arch. Additionally, it provides Diploma and Law courses in LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. Postgraduate options include MBA, MCA, M.Sc., M.A., BBA+MBA, BCA+MCA, B.Tech.+MBA, M.Tech., and LLM, all recognized by the UGC.

The admission process involves downloading the application form from the official website and submitting it along with the application fee, which can be paid in cash, through a demand draft, or online.

Eligibility criteria vary for different courses. For instance, applicants to Diploma courses need a minimum of 50% marks in 10th standard, while those for UG courses must pass 10+2 with relevant subjects and secure at least 50% marks. For B.Tech., a JEE Main exam is necessary, and LL.B. requires a bachelor's degree with 50% marks.

Postgraduate program candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree with 50% marks. M.Tech. admission relies on the GATE exam, while MBA applicants should have appeared in CAT or another national management entrance exam. Law course admissions are through the CLAT exam.

Admission to both UG and PG courses is based on either the AIET entrance exam or CET conducted by the University.
