Every year, the NEET MDS (National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery) is held in a computer-based online mode for admission to roughly 6,000 MDS seats under the 50 percent All India Quota and 50 percent state quota. NEED MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking test, and no other entrance examination, whether at the state or institutional level, will be accepted for MDS admission.

The online Computer-based Test (CBT) for NEET MDS 2022 will be conducted according to the plan. The NEET MDS 2022 exam consists of 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with only one right answer. Candidates will have three hours, or 180 minutes, to complete the exam. For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded, 1 mark will be deducted for each erroneous response, and no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
