GIMER 2022 will be held in Online CBT Mode on November 26, 2021 for M.Sc./ M.Sc. MLT courses at PGIMER Chandigarh. The PGIMER 2022 test syllabus is based on the Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, Clinical, and other significant subjects in medical science that applicants studied during their M.B.B.S (U.G) degree programme. There will be 250 multiple-choice questions on the exam.
The PGIMER entrance exam is a university-level examination held twice a year, in January and July, by the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), for admitting candidates to postgraduate medical science courses such as DM/MCH, Research Fellowship, and Medical diploma, among others. Negative marking is available in the PGIMER 2020 entrance exam pattern.

The PGIMER pattern will mostly cover topics covered in MBBS, such as preclinical, paraclinical, and clinical medicine.
The total number of questions is: There will be 100 multiple-choice questions on the exam (MCQs). Candidates must select one accurate answer from a set of four options.
The written test will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
PGIMER Marks: Each right answer receives one point. Candidates will be penalised if they select the incorrect answer.
Exam Pattern for M.Sc. Courses at PGIMER
Number of Questions: There will be a total of 250 multiple-choice questions on the test paper (MCQs).
Total Marks for PGIMER M.Sc. Paper: The PGIMER M.Sc. paper will have a total of 100 marks.
PGIMER Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will receive two points, while each erroneous response will receive a quarter-point deduction.
Cutoff: A minimum qualifying mark of 50% of the total marks is required.
Parts of the PGIMER Exam for MD (Hospital Administration): The theory exam will be divided into two parts, each worth 40 points.
