UPESEAT 2022 Overview

The UPES has posted the UPESEAT 2022 application form for interested candidates. The deadline for applications is March 29, 2022. From April 1 to April 2, 2022, the exam will be held online.

Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) is a test administered by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for candidates seeking admission to several B.Tech. fields. UPES provides over 30 Engineering and Technology degrees with a variety of specializations. The merit obtained in the UPESEAT exam is rigorously used to select students for various courses. Below are all of the details about the various courses, as well as qualifying requirements and how to fill out the application form.

Eligibility Criteria for UPESEAT 2022

To apply for UPESEAT 2022, you must first meet the eligibility requirements. Non-eligible candidates' application forms will not be accepted by the admissions authority. As a result, candidates should check the UPESEAT BTech qualifying criteria to prevent having their application rejected. Nationality, Age Limit, Percentage, and other requirements must be met by candidates. Also, see the eligibility criteria for the BTech programme and BTech LLB (Hons) below.

• Nationality; Candidates from both India and abroad are eligible to apply for the UPESEAT 2022.
• Age Limit: Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000 to be eligible.
• Qualification: Candidates must have completed the 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Candidates who are currently enrolled in Class 12 are also eligible to take the exam.
• Marks in the qualifying exam: Candidates must have received at least 50% in Class 10 and 12 and 50% in the PCM Subjects as a whole.
• JEE Main: Candidates who scored higher than the required cut-off marks do not need to take the UPESEAT 2022 exam and can go straight to the counselling.
• Board: Candidates who scored at or above 80% on both the Class 10 and 12 levels do not need to take the UPESEAT 2022 and can go straight to the counselling.

Application for UPESEAT 2022

Only the official website – upes.ac.in – can be used to register for UPESEAT. The application process is broken down into four basic parts, which are outlined below:

Step 1: UPESEAT Registration.

• Visit UPES' official webpage at upes.ac.in.
• To apply now, go to the right top corner of the website and click the "Apply Now" tab.
• Fill in your personal information, including your name, date of birth, nationality, email address, phone number, state, city, and programme.
• To go to the next stage, enter the OTP that was sent to your phone number.

Step 2: Fill in your academic information.

• Enter the year you passed 10th grade and your percentage or CGPA.
• Also, include information about your class 12 appearance status and any pertinent information.

Step 3: Pay the UPESEAT Application Form Fees

Candidates must pay the INR 1350 UPESEAT Application Fee online.

Fees can be paid with a debit card, a credit card, a net banking account, Paytm, or PayU.

Step 4: Fill out the UPESEAT application.

Filling in the remaining details on the application form is the final step.

Once you've reviewed the form, agree to the declaration, and submit it, you're done.

Make a copy of the completed UPESEAT Application Form 2021 as well as the fee receipt.

Note:

• Applicants will be considered for each round of the selection process according to the timelines established. Only one round of the selection process will be completed for each applicant.
• If the applicants state board examination results have not yet been released, you may upload the marks as soon as they are, and he or she will be considered for the next step of the selection process.
• Students in state boards are recommended to submit only their class 12 grades (in case board result include class 11th marks also)

The exam will cover themes from the NCERT 11th and 12th grade physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology textbooks, as well as English language comprehension and current events awareness parts.

Tips for UPESEAT 2022 Preparation

Students interested in UPES BTech courses should review the following tips and strategies for good exam preparation:

• Examine the entire syllabus and exam format.
• Make a well-balanced timetable and stick to it.
• Take the practise tests a month before the exam and solve previous years' and sample papers.
• Take notes, both long and brief. Regularly review your notes, and a few days before the exam, review the complete syllabus with short notes.
• To stay in shape, set aside some time (at least one hour) for outdoor physical activity.

UPESEAT 2022 Slot Booking & Admit Card

Around two months before the test, UPES sends an email to all successfully registered applicants informing them of the exam dates, slot booking window, and exam centres.

• To take the exam, candidates must reserve a time slot and select an exam centre city.
• They will be able to download UPESEAT Admit Card 2022 once the spot has been reserved.
• By logging in with your email ID and password, you can access the UPESEAT Slot Booking window and Admit card from the applicant's login page.

Exam Centers for UPESEAT 2022

While filling out the UPESEAT application form, candidates must select their two chosen exam centres. UPES does not allow you to change your exam centre once you've submitted your application. The name of the UPESEAT 2022 Exam Center, as well as its entire address, will be printed on the admit card, thus applicants must bring their admit card to the examination centre of their choice on the day of the exam.

Exam Centers: The UPESEAT 2022 examination will be held in 100 places across India.

Scholarship for UPESEAT

Candidates can apply for a scholarship in one of two categories: All India Category or Uttarakhand Domicile Special Scholarship. The scholarship's specifics are listed below.

All-India Category

• A candidate must have obtained 60 percent in PCM and 60 percent in class 10 and 12.
• In the first year, CBSE, ICSE, and State board pass out students would receive a 50% tuition price discount on 10% of seats in each programme.
• The application form will be reopened in the second semester, but only if a candidate with an SGPA of 8/10 has applied.
• Scholarships will be awarded according to the University's scholarship programme in the next years.
• Special Scholarships for Uttarakhand Residents

Eligibility

For BTech, a candidate must have received 60 percent in each of the classes 10, 12, and PCM.

A Permanent Residence Certificate is required of all candidates.

A student can only apply for one scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Merit or through Uttarakhand Domicile category)

The 15 percent reservation for Uttarakhand Domicile students would apply to the seats reserved under this category.

In the first year, female students will pay 35 percent of the tuition cost, while male students will pay 25 percent.

The application form will be updated in the second semester, but only for those who have an SGPA of 8/10.

Results of UPESEAT 2022

Once the examination has been completed successfully, the UPESEAT 2022 result will be announced. The results will be posted on the UPES website. Candidates can verify their results by entering their "Application Number" and the "Email ID" or "Mobile Number" that they registered with (as given during the time of Application Form filling).

The UPES will publish the date of the UPESEAT 2022 Results later.

Counseling for UPESEAT 2022

UPESEAT 2022 Counseling is the final stage of the UPES admissions process. Only those candidates who receive the required minimum score will be invited to UPESEAT Counseling. Candidates who applied through the exam pathway or the non-exam method will get counselling. The notification for the counselling will be posted on the UPES official website. Candidates should check the official website once the UPESEAT 2022 results are released. Following the announcement of the results, the UPESEAT 2022 counselling date will be announced.
